We're licensed Florida general contractors (CRC1331628 + CGC1522463) who do small jobs. Most handymen aren't licensed. We are.
If the job grows or needs a permit, we pull it. A handyman can't. We can — same crew, no second contractor to coordinate.
St. Pete's older housing stock — 1920s bungalows, 1950s ranches, mid-century condos — has tile you can't just walk into a big-box and match. Discontinued 4x4 wall tile, hex-mosaic bathroom floors, vintage pastel bathroom sets, terracotta entry tile. Before we start, we tell you honestly whether we can source a match, whether we need to salvage from an inconspicuous spot, or whether the honest fix is a small feature patch that reads as intentional. No pretending the match is invisible when it isn't.
A division of Revolution Contractors LLC. Same shop, same license, same insurance — routed to the small-job side.
Sometimes what looks like a tile problem is actually a substrate problem, a waterproofing problem, or a plumbing problem behind the wall. We check before we retile — pop the tile, look at what's underneath, tell you what we find. If the fix stays inside our small-job scope, we finish it same visit. If the scope grows — full shower rebuild, whole-bath remodel, plumbing rough-in that needs a licensed plumber — we quote the escalation before we do the extra work, and route to the parent Revolution side or our trusted trade partners if the license track requires it.
Regrout is our highest-volume tile scope. Old grout picks up moisture, mold, and staining that no amount of cleaning fixes. We chase the old grout out of every joint with an oscillating multi-tool (careful not to chip the tile edges), vacuum the dust, mix the new grout to match, pack every joint, tool the surface, wipe the haze, and let it cure. A sealer coat goes on after full cure — usually a follow-up visit the next day or two. Whole-bathroom-floor regrout typically wraps in a half-day; kitchen backsplash regrout often in under a half-day.
